Chloe Montoya
Chloe Montoya is a musician and music educator born and raised in San Francisco California. Chloe discovered their love for music when they began playing the flute in elementary school, ultimately leading them to find their voice through the saxophone. Chloe attended School of the Arts High School for saxophone and went on to graduate Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of Puget Sound. Chloe has a strong background in both jazz and classical saxophone and has been playing for over 11 years. While saxophone is their main instrument, Chloe is a well rounded musician with love for music in all areas.
They play guitar regularly as they are also passionate about singing and songwriting and have played guitar and piano in extra-curricular pop rock bands. They spent their years in college learning in depth pedagogy of every instrument as well as methods of effective learning and education. Chloe is passionate about music education and loves helping their students find themselves through music. They believe that music is for everyone, music is limitless, and being a musician means always learning. Chloe is friendly and bubbly by nature and works to tailor lessons to each student’s individual needs and goals.
