Carolyn Cohen
For Carolyn Cohen, practicing yoga has been a blessed discovery of physical strength,
spiritual connection, and deep release. She began practicing in 1993 and has embraced
Kundalini, Bikram, and Ashtanga influences along the way. Her current inspiration is drawn
from her Source within as well as Rusty Wells (9-year ongoing practice, assistant for 2 years)
and Shiva Rea (200-hours completed, current assistant), and feels blessed to be a constant
student of yoga.
She is a Senior AcroYoga instructor and helped co-develop the practice during its inception.
Since June 2004, she has been teaching AcroYoga and blending her training in Bodywork (specializing
in Thai Massage), Acupuncture and Yoga, as well as a love of gymnastics, free-form expression,
partner yoga and inversions into her classes and workshops.
Carolyn infuses all her classes (Vinyasa & AcroYoga) with pranayama, playful reverence and
joyful precision. She is honored to guide students through the moving meditation of asana as a
vehicle for personal growth, liberation and acceptance. More info: www.carolyncohen.org
Elizabeth Rosser
Elizabeth feels most at home in the outdoors. She finds inspiration for her yoga practice
while connecting in with the natural world. Her classes offer a rigorous blend of creative
sequences designed to warm and open the body while uplifting the spirit. She has been teaching
yoga throughout the Bay Area since 2001. Initially influenced by her Ashtanga roots, her teachers
also include Shiva Rea, Ana Forrest, Steph Snyder, and Rusty Wells. Dancing, singing, and acting
since she was young, Elizabeth brings a melodic blend of chanting and flute playing to her classes.
Come prepared to breathe, sweat and open.
