Dear Musicians and Friends,

Next month, Bird presents another of its semi-famous drum clinics, on May 10th from 4-5:30pm.   For $30, you'll learn the history of the drum set, solos and duets, drum set-up and tuning, hand drums and percussion basics -- ear plugs and drumsticks included!  Ages 7 to 107 welcome for this big Bird jam. Here's the flyer >

And, Bird summer camps are now open for registration, as we explore the worst songs of the 70s.  Spiders & Snakes.  Kung Fu Fighting.  Rhinestone Cowboy.  You can learn a lot of good things about music from a really bad song, and have fun doing it.  Seven one-week sessions to choose from, starting June 16th, with offerings for those entering grades 2 through 8 in the fall.  More info on our website >

Hopefully we'll see you around the Bird this spring and summer!
