Hi Parents and Musicians:
With the school year approaching, we'd like to check in with you and express how much we're looking forward to seeing all of you again soon and to alert you to some of Bird's new ideas and offerings. I hope that summer has met your expectations and possibly even exceeded your dreams. May you also be successful in squeezing the most freedom, fun and family time out of these last few weeks. If you're home, you most likely are going through piles of mail, phone messages and emails, and if you're anything like me, scrambling to complete forms required to attain entrance for your child/children into the next grade level.
Here's another bit of housekeeping that you'll need to address: Session I begins at Bird on September 24. There's lots of new and interesting stuff on the schedule. Check it out and take note that some of it requires previous experience, an audition, advance sign-up. If you are a current student and haven't already, please contact us to secure your band/lesson slot. For those of you who are hoping to enroll for the first time or change your regular rehearsal schedule, please know that there is limited availability. Bird is accepting enrollment now and closing registration on September 18. We call this the SOL date. So...please have a look at the information below and let us know at your earliest convenience what your desires are for the fall.
At right are some of our new offerings for fall. These are 7-week sessions; sign-up required by September 18. For complete class descriptions and important dates, see the Classes and Calendar pages on the Bird website.
