Bands

Bird helps students form bands, and provides group supervision, instruction, rehearsal space and performance opportunities for your existing band. From song-writing classes to instruction in stage presence, running rehearsals and making demos and videos, learn what it takes from actual performing musicians. Perform live with your band at our epic end-of-session concerts. We even have mom and dad bands that practice on their lunch hour. Plus, Bird bands have access to the equipment and supervision to record a full length CD in our professional studio.

Looking for a band?
Check out the Birdhouse, our online community where you can post looking for bandmates after a quick registration process. Think about who it might be fun to play with and post an ad in the Birdhouse. This is also the place to talk to our bands and find out who they know.

Mom & Dad Bands
Mom bands, dad bands, mom and dad bands. We know you are out there. Here's your opportunity to dust off that guitar, drum, fiddle or piano you have at home and put those chops to use. Practice on your lunch hour from 12:00-1:30pm once a week. Who knows, maybe you can put on a show, play a fundraiser, approach an open mic in a local club. What we do know is you will have a great time and maybe even learn something. To get started, email us or post a note in the Birdhouse if you're in need of bandmates.
